After weeks of research for a truly luxurious romantic getaway for my husband and I, that wasn’t the usual resort in the Maldives or Bali, The Nam Hai Hotel emerged as a haven of opulence and intimacy.

Nestled along the pristine shores of Hoi An, Vietnam, this exquisite resort redefines luxury and offers an unrivalled experience for couples seeking a romantic escape. With its picturesque setting, luxurious accommodations, exquisite dining, and a myriad of romantic activities, The Nam Hai stood out for me as the ultimate destination for an indulgent and romantic retreat.

Here are 6 reasons why The Nam Hai, Hoi An stood up to my expectations and managed to become one of the best romantic getaways I’ve ever had.

From the moment we stepped foot into The Nam Hai Hotel, we were enveloped in an ambiance of grandeur and refined luxury. The resort boasts an architectural marvel, blending traditional Vietnamese design with contemporary elegance. We stayed in a one bedroom private pool villa with views out onto the gorgeous beach. The villa was made up of three buildings, one for the dining area, another for the bedroom and bathroom and also a space for your very own butler to reside.

I loved the full size pool and sun loungers and my husband and I spent many hours tanning in the sunshine and dipping into our private pool to cool down.

The bedroom was majestic, with a super comfortable four poster bed, sunken bathtub and outdoor and indoor shower.

We indulged in a private beachfront BBQ for dinner one night during our stay, which was a stunningly romantic experience. A beautiful dining set up was created on the white sandy beach and the chefs cooked a personalised BBQ just for us! This was a fantastic opportunity to treat ourselves and spend some quality time together.

My husband and I really enjoyed our couples massage, which was a serene and calming experience for us both.
