Firebrand Pizza on Lisson Grove specialise in Neapolitan-style sourdough pizza. The small but cosy restaurant serves up one classic pizzas as well as a few Firebrand originals.

At Firebrand Pizza, all the ingredients are carefully sourced and every pizza is cooked in their massive wood-fire oven, all of which results in delicious, authentic pizzas!

What's on the menu?

The menu at Firebrand contains includes anti-pasti, pizzas, salads and desserts, everything you could want on a pizza night.

We ordered drinks to start including a Mojito and a Vodka Sunrise. From the anti-pasta we ordered one portion of garlic bread to share which was enough for both of us to start.

For our main course, we ordered one pizza with buffalo mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, plenty of rocket and parmesan. We also tried goat’s cheese, caramelised onion, black olives and mozzarella. The pizzas didn’t take too long to arrive and the thin base and crust meant that the large pizzas were actually easy to consume. The fresh ingredients added a richness to the flavour and the use of the wood-fire oven meant that the pizzas are perfectly crisp!

We then moved on to the dessert menu and tried the salted caramel cheesecake as well as the tortino al cioccolato. The desserts were of a standard level but we were happy with our pizza main course.

Could I afford to dine here again?

Firebrand Pizza is an affordable central London restaurants to dine in. Our three course meal including drinks came under £30 each, which is a very reasonable prize for the meal we had.

Overall?

Firebrand Pizza is a good-to-know restaurant based close to Marylebone station which would work well as a lunch spot or quick dinner venue. The pizzas themselves were high quality and Firebrand Pizza is worth a visit to sample them.

A special thanks to Firebrand Pizza for their hospitality!
