Location: Suntec City

Value for Money: 4/5
Overall: 4/5
Perfect for: Night’s Out, Live Music, Unique Cocktails

Located in Suntec City, Dirty Blonde Bar & Lounge is a rooftop bar with dazzling aesthetics, unique cocktails and a fantastic vibe.

The Decor:

Dirty Blonde is filled with plush velvet seating and rattan-accented furnishings and floor-to ceiling windows, all of which give the space a comfortable yet luxurious feel. The impressive bar is located towards the back and is filled with back-lit spirits from across the globe.

During the early evening hours this is a great place to lounge with cocktails in hand. As the evening progresses the live music starts, laser lights come on and the vibe becomes much more lively. In fact Dirty Blonde is open until the early hours of the morning when it essentially becomes a dance club. This impressive chameleon-like nature makes it a destination for many different types of occasions.

The Drinks:

We arrived at Dirty Blonde with one thing in mind, to try their Signatures cocktails which have been specially curated by mixologist Stanislav.

There are 9 signature cocktails on the menu, all of which are presented in unique glassware, specially created and imported from Spain.

Some of my favourite Signature Cocktails include Midnight Breakfast, made with gin, plum soju, yuzu jam and is served with a piece of toast in a glass that resembles a bird dressed as a punk.

I also enjoyed Blow Me, a delicious sweet cocktail made with Muscat grape soju and Vermouth Blanc which reminded me of grape soda. It is served in a cheeky glass that resembles a face with bunny ears blowing a pink bubble.

Treasure Chest is not just a cocktail, but an experience, as it is served in a literal chest and has a small treasure inside for guests to take home. This cocktail is infused with pandan, lime and aloe vera which enhances the flavours of the tequila.

Dirty Blonde also serves the classic cocktails too, and there’s a large selection of beers, wines and spirits on the menu too.

The Food:

The menu here is very much bar food focused, and we sampled a few bites alongside our drinks, including truffle fries with garlic mayo, chicken tacos with chilli sauce and nachos too.

There are large plates on the menu too for those with an appetite for more of a meal. This includes dishes such as crab pasta, pork belly, and wagyu burger.

The Price:

The Signature cocktails that we tried all cost between $23 - $27, with Classic cocktails priced at $19.

Overall:

Stanislav’s menu takes inspiration from local drinks and flavours, and he expertly utilises spirits and ingredients such as Soju, pandan and butterfly pea to pay homage to Singapore.

This combined with the inviting decor, live music from local acts and late night opening hours make Dirty Blonde a popular destination for many.
