Hello you!

Welcome to my slow travel diaries - exploring resorts, hotels and restaurants from a slow travel perspective.

Food Blogger Connect 2015

Food Blogger Connect 2015

Food Blogger Connect (FBC) has been running successfully for the past six years, and this year I decided to head down and take part.

Walk through Chiswick Gardens to #FBC15

Founded in 2009, FBC claims to be the world’s leading international food blogging conference bringing together high-profile guest speakers and attracting bloggers from literally all over the world. I met many bloggers from various countries including Australia and Italy and it was certainly the first blogger event I’d been too where so many different languages were spoken.

Highlights of the event include speakers offering interactive labs, panels and sessions on everything from photography to marketing, as well as some of London’s most delicious food and drink at the strEAT Party.

As the event was focused more on 'recipes' and ' creating food' instead of 'restaurants' and 'London life' which are my blogging areas, I don't think I'll be attending the event again. This is especially the case considering the sky high ticket prices - I'm talking the price of a group meal at a high end restaurant! However attending FBC did give me the chance to meet a new group of bloggers that I wouldn't usually connect with, as well as the opportunity to see the blogging arena from a different perspective.

Here are a few of my snapshots from #FBC15...
